Who is Snapscan?

In 2013, SnapScan launched one of the first mobile payment apps in South Africa. By combining their ingenuity with Standard Bank's impressive financial infrastructure and expertise, SnapScan has been changing the way South Africans pay and get paid - one snap at a time. Since then they have become one of the dominant players in the online payment space, and of course this makes them a no brainer to have on Nimbl.

Snapscan serves around 60 000 clients in South Africa. They are pretty much a household name and their brand carries reliability and ease of use in their name. And with their numbers still growing, not having them as an option could be detrimental to your Nimbl Store.

We also love their easy to understand pricing structure and easy to use portal to monitor your transactions. And if your online store has a brick and mortar location, or even a bicycle cart, combing both your current SnapCodes with your online store, will give you one central management place of all your payments. Now that makes sense.

Why are we partnered with Snapscan?

To be honest the real question should be why haven't we done it earlier! While in the development and discussion phases with many different payment providers and other partners in the last year, our staff has voted Snapscan as the best company to work with. The support staff was amazing, and the turn around time on any of our concerns or questions was responded to with lightning speed. Not only was it fast, but if was thorough. 

While we have only now completed the partnership and integration with Snapscan, we have had many emails and many calls from our current clients who wanted them on board. Snapscan is the kind of company we love to be associated with, and we are excited for even more collaboration in the future.

How do I get Snapscan on my Nimbl store?

As always we have made it as easy as possible. Just signup with Snapscan directly from their website https://www.snapscan.co.za/. After your signup is complete and your merchant account is active, head on over to your Nimbl Portal. Go to Payment Options from the menu. Click on Snapscan and enter the required details which you will find by emailing them directly. Click Save and you are done!
